Brochure Bonnaud Fils, Marseille (Fa)

Bonnaud Fils

The firm Bonnaud was founded in 1824 in Marseille and remained active until approximately 1935 under the names Bonnaud Fils / Maison Bonnaud. Its product range is characterised primarily by stub stemmed pipes made of red- or brown clay with a detachable stem. Pipes with fixed stems or made of white-firing clay were rarely, if ever, produced by the firm. The (often smaller) stub stemmed bowls with reed stems likely corresponded more closely to the demands of local Mediterranean and North African markets.

The brochure likely dates from the period 1930–1935 and, across four colour pages, presents the principal models intended for export.
